Centura Yukatan Multicolor Natural Porcelain 24″ x 24″

Description

Yukatan Multicolor belongs to Centura’s Yukatan range and measures 24″ x 24″. It carries an organic, unrepeated face and the layered, cleft face of slate, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V4, a wide spread where individual pieces differ markedly, so the tile should be dry-laid from several boxes before it is set. At 24″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 10 mm. The suggested grout is 947 – Light Bronze. One box contains 4 pieces, enough for 15.34 sq ft, or 3.8358 sq ft a piece.
