Description

Yukatan Multicolor belongs to Centura’s Yukatan range and measures 24″ x 48″. It carries an organic, unrepeated face and the layered, cleft face of slate, finished with a gloss surface that reflects light and lifts a darker room. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. At 24″ x 48″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 10 mm. Centura matches it to grout 947 – Light Bronze. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 14.88 sq ft, or 7.4405 sq ft a piece.
