Centura Yukatan Blanco Natural Porcelain 24″ x 48″

Yukatan Blanco is a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Yukatan range. It carries an organic, unrepeated face and the layered, cleft face of slate, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. A 24″ x 48″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 10 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 939 – Mist. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 15.4 sq ft, or 7.6982 sq ft a piece.
