Yukatan Beige belongs to Centura’s Yukatan range and measures 24″ x 48″. It carries an organic, unrepeated face and the layered, cleft face of slate, finished with a gloss surface that reflects light and lifts a darker room. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. A 24″ x 48″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 10 mm. The suggested grout is 939 – Mist. It ships 2 pieces to a box, covering 14.88 sq ft, or 7.4405 sq ft a piece.
