It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Expect variation of V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 12″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. The edges are cushioned rather than rectified, so allow a slightly wider grout joint. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 927 Light Pewter.
