Description

York Anthracite is a 12″ x 12″ porcelain tile from Centura’s York range. It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. The edges are cushioned rather than rectified, so allow a slightly wider grout joint. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 941 – Raven. One box contains 10 pieces, enough for 9.59 sq ft, or 0.9588 sq ft a piece.
