Centura Valdorcia Cotto Matte Porcelain

Description

Valdorcia Cotto is a 8″ x 8″, 8″ x 16″, 16″ x 16″, 16″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Valdorcia range. It carries an organic, unrepeated face, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The rectangle, square format breaks up the grid a square or rectangular tile would give you. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. The edges are cushioned rather than rectified, so allow a slightly wider grout joint. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 969 – Coffee. Boxes hold 6 pieces and cover 6 sq ft, or 1 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
