Uniquestone Silver belongs to Centura’s Uniquestone range and measures 24″ x 24″. It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Expect variation of V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 24″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9.5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 949 – Silverado. One box contains 3 pieces, enough for 11.45 sq ft, or 3.8153 sq ft a piece.
