Uniquestone Sand belongs to Centura’s Uniquestone range and measures 24″ x 24″. It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. A 24″ x 24″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9.5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 903 – Birch. It ships 3 pieces to a box, covering 11.45 sq ft, or 3.8153 sq ft a piece.
