Centura lists Uniquestone Nite in the Uniquestone range: a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile. It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Expect variation of V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 24″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9.5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 941 – Raven. One box contains 3 pieces, enough for 11.45 sq ft, or 3.8153 sq ft a piece.
