Centura lists Ultra Marmi Statuario in the Ultra range: a 60″ x 120″ porcelain tile. It carries the veining and depth of quarried marble and a brushed metallic cast, finished with a polished face with a mirror-level shine. Expect variation of V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 60″ x 120″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 6 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 909 – Sterling. One box contains 11 pieces, enough for 10.32 sq ft.
