Centura lists Touch Stone White in the Touch Stone range: a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile. It carries the veining and depth of quarried marble and the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a smoothed matte face. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 24″ x 48″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 928 – Praline. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 15.53 sq ft, or 7.764 sq ft a piece.
