Centura lists Touch Stone Grey in the Touch Stone range: a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile. It carries the veining and depth of quarried marble and the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a smoothed matte face. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 24″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 949 – Silverado. One box contains 4 pieces, enough for 15.5 sq ft, or 3.876 sq ft a piece.
