Centura lists Touch Stone Gold in the Touch Stone range: a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile. It carries the veining and depth of quarried marble and the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a smoothed matte face. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. At 24″ x 48″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 940 – Antique White. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 15.53 sq ft, or 7.764 sq ft a piece.
