The hexagon format breaks up the grid a square or rectangular tile would give you. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Boxes hold 6 pieces and cover 5.63 sq ft, or 0.9383 sq ft a piece. Being mesh-mounted, the sheet holds its spacing as it goes up and trims down to meet a corner or niche.
