Stone Valley Cenere is a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Stone Valley range. It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 24″ x 48″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 10 mm. The suggested grout is 934 – DeLorean Gray. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 15.27 sq ft, or 7.6336 sq ft a piece.
