Stone Union Grigio is a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Stone Union range. It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Centura rates shade variation at V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. At 24″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 10 mm. Centura matches it to grout 908 – Dove Gray. It ships 4 pieces to a box, covering 15.42 sq ft, or 3.8551 sq ft a piece.
