Stone Union Bianco is a 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Stone Union range. It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. At 12″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 10 mm. The suggested grout is 949 – Silverado. Boxes hold 8 pieces and cover 15.42 sq ft, or 1.9279 sq ft a piece.
