At 12″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally.
