Centura Soho Max Ice Matte Porcelain 12″ x 24″

Soho Max Ice is a 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Soho Max range. Centura gives it a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 12″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 949 Silverado. One box contains 8 pieces, enough for 15.5 sq ft, or 1.9372 sq ft a piece.
