Scultorea Foam Grey belongs to Centura’s Scultorea range and measures 8.5″ x 10″. Centura gives it a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The hexagon format breaks up the grid a square or rectangular tile would give you. The slip rating is R9, the rating for dry interior floors. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. The edges are cushioned rather than rectified, so allow a slightly wider grout joint. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 908 – Dove Grey. One box contains 29 pieces, enough for 12.7 sq ft, or 0.4378 sq ft a piece.
