Description
Scultorea Dark Diamond belongs to Centura’s Scultorea range and measures 8.5″ x 10″. Centura gives it a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Expect variation of V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The hexagon format breaks up the grid a square or rectangular tile would give you. Centura tests it at R9, the rating for dry interior floors. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 950 – Jet Black. One box contains 29 pieces, enough for 12.7 sq ft, or 0.4378 sq ft a piece.
