Sand Beige belongs to Centura’s Sand range and measures 12″ x 24″. The surface is a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. At 12″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 8 mm. The suggested grout is 903 – Birch. It ships 8 pieces to a box, covering 15.42 sq ft, or 1.9279 sq ft a piece.
