Centura lists Reverso Black in the Reverso range: a 12″ x 12″ porcelain tile. It carries the veining and depth of quarried marble and the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 929 – Charcoal Gray. One box contains 11 pieces, enough for 10.32 sq ft, or 0.9384 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
