Centura ReStone Santorini Natural Porcelain 24″ x 48″

ReStone Santorini is a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile from Centura’s ReStone range. The surface is a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Expect variation of V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24″ x 48″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 8 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 941 – Raven. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 15.38 sq ft, or 7.6923 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
