Centura ReStone Dune Natural Porcelain 12″ x 24″

Centura lists ReStone Dune in the ReStone range: a 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile. The surface is a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 12″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 8 mm. Centura matches it to grout 949 – Silverado. It ships 7 pieces to a box, covering 13.21 sq ft, or 1.8871 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
