Centura lists Rapolano White in the Rapolano range: a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile. The surface is a polished face with a mirror-level shine. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. At 24″ x 48″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 909 – Sterling. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 15.5 sq ft, or 7.7519 sq ft a piece.
