Description
Centura lists Plain / Techno Slate Grey in the Plain / Techno range: a 12″ x 12″ mosaic. It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V1, so pieces run near-identical and the finished floor reads as one continuous surface. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. The edges are cushioned rather than rectified, so allow a slightly wider grout joint. The body measures 6 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 927 Light Pewter. It ships 20 pieces to a box, covering 19.42 sq ft, or 0.9709 sq ft a piece.
