Penta Memphis Ginger is a 12″ x 12″ mosaic from Centura’s Penta Memphis range. It is finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Expect variation of V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The slip rating is R11, enough grip for consistently wet areas including shower floors, pool surrounds and covered patios. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 5.5 mm. The suggested grout is 909 – Sterling. Boxes hold 10 pieces and cover 10.4 sq ft, or 1.0404 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
