Penta Memphis Arctic Blue is a 12″ x 12″ mosaic from Centura’s Penta Memphis range. It is finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. Centura tests it at R11, enough grip for consistently wet areas including shower floors, pool surrounds and covered patios. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. The edges are cushioned rather than rectified, so allow a slightly wider grout joint. The body measures 5.5 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 931 – Standard White. One box contains 10 pieces, enough for 10.4 sq ft, or 1.0404 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
