Description

Oudh Elem is a 8″ x 48″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Oudh range. The surface is a brushed face with fine directional texture. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 8″ x 48″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Centura tests it at R9, the rating for dry interior floors. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 908 – Dove Gray. Boxes hold 6 pieces and cover 15.24 sq ft, or 2.54 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
