Description
Centura lists Norr Oken in the Norr range: a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile. The surface is a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Centura tests it at R11, enough grip for consistently wet areas including shower floors, pool surrounds and covered patios. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. The 20 mm body is thick enough for exterior paving, including pedestal systems over a flat roof or deck. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The suggested grout is 915 Light Smoke. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 7.67 sq ft, or 3.8358 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
