Nolita Sunset belongs to Centura’s Nolita range and measures 2″ x 18″. It carries the irregular face of fired brick, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V4, a wide spread where individual pieces differ markedly, so the tile should be dry-laid from several boxes before it is set. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. The rating covers floors in residential and commercial settings. The edges are cushioned rather than rectified, so allow a slightly wider grout joint. The body measures 9.5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 973 Warm Taupe. One box contains 32 pieces, enough for 6.81 sq ft, or 0.2127 sq ft a piece.
