Centura Nolita Sand Matte Ceramic 2″ x 18″

Description

Nolita Sand is a 2″ x 18″ ceramic tile from Centura’s Nolita range. It carries the irregular face of fired brick, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Centura rates shade variation at V4, a wide spread where individual pieces differ markedly, so the tile should be dry-laid from several boxes before it is set. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. Floor use is what Centura rates it for in residential and commercial settings. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 9.5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 973 Warm Taupe. Boxes hold 32 pieces and cover 6.81 sq ft, or 0.2127 sq ft a piece.
