Centura lists Nolita Pearl in the Nolita range: a 2″ x 18″ ceramic tile. It carries the irregular face of fired brick, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V4, a wide spread where individual pieces differ markedly, so the tile should be dry-laid from several boxes before it is set. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers floors in residential and commercial settings. The edges are cushioned rather than rectified, so allow a slightly wider grout joint. The body measures 9.5 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 949 Silverado. One box contains 32 pieces, enough for 6.81 sq ft, or 0.2127 sq ft a piece.
