Centura Motley Reading Natural Porcelain 12″ x 24″

Motley Reading is a 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Motley range. Centura gives it a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 12″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 934 Slate Gray. One box contains 7 pieces, enough for 13.56 sq ft, or 1.9376 sq ft a piece.
