Centura lists More Perla in the More range: a 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile. It is finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 12″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9.5 mm. Centura matches it to grout 939 – Mist. Boxes hold 6 pieces and cover 11.33 sq ft, or 1.8875 sq ft a piece.
