Centura lists Marvel Gems Terrazzo Cream in the Marvel Gems range: a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile. It carries the chipped aggregate of terrazzo, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9.5 mm. The suggested grout is 928 – Praline.
