Centura lists Lythos Grey in the Lythos range: a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile. It is finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. A 24″ x 24″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 908 – Dove Grey. One box contains 4 pieces, enough for 15.97 sq ft, or 3.992 sq ft a piece.
