Centura Lythos Brown Natural Porcelain 24″ x 24″

Centura lists Lythos Brown in the Lythos range: a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile. It is finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 24″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 966 – Urban Bronze. One box contains 4 pieces, enough for 15.97 sq ft, or 3.992 sq ft a piece.
