Centura Lythos Black Natural Porcelain 24″ x 48″

Lythos Black is a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Lythos range. It is finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 24″ x 48″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 941 – Raven. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 16.03 sq ft, or 8.0128 sq ft a piece.
