Centura lists Lemmy Nimbus in the Lemmy range: a 12″ x 24″ porcelain tile. Centura gives it a brushed face with fine directional texture. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 12″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. The slip rating is R9, the rating for dry interior floors. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 939 – Mist. Boxes hold 7 pieces and cover 13.46 sq ft, or 1.9227 sq ft a piece.
