Lemmy Indio is a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Lemmy range. The surface is a brushed face with fine directional texture. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. A 24″ x 24″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Underfoot it is rated R9, the rating for dry interior floors. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 927 – Light Pewter. One box contains 3 pieces, enough for 11.57 sq ft, or 3.8551 sq ft a piece.
