Lanse Black is a 2″ x 10″ ceramic tile from Centura’s Lanse range. Centura gives it a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The atypical shapes, hexagon format breaks up the grid a square or rectangular tile would give you. Centura rates this one for walls, not floors, which puts it in backsplash, surround and feature wall territory. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 941 – Raven. It ships 44 pieces to a box, covering 5.84 sq ft, or 0.1328 sq ft a piece.
