Lakeland Blanco is a 6″ x 36″ porcelain tile from Centura’s Lakeland range. It is finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 6″ x 36″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 949 – Silverado. It ships 9 pieces to a box, covering 13.04 sq ft, or 1.4484 sq ft a piece.
