Centura lists I Cocci Siciliani Grigio in the I Cocci Siciliani range: a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile. The surface is a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Expect variation of V4, a wide spread where individual pieces differ markedly, so the tile should be dry-laid from several boxes before it is set. A 24″ x 48″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 908 Dove Gray. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 15.3 sq ft, or 7.6511 sq ft a piece.
