Description

Centura lists I Classici Statuario in the I Classici range: a 24″ x 48″ porcelain tile. It carries the veining and depth of quarried marble, finished with a satin sheen, halfway between matte and gloss. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24″ x 48″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 10 mm. Centura matches it to grout 939 – Mist. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 15.38 sq ft, or 7.6923 sq ft a piece.
