I Classici Statuario is a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s I Classici range. It carries the veining and depth of quarried marble, finished with a satin sheen, halfway between matte and gloss. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. A 24″ x 24″ tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 10 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 939 – Mist. Boxes hold 3 pieces and cover 11.51 sq ft, or 3.8358 sq ft a piece.
