I Classici Marquinia belongs to Centura’s I Classici range and measures 24″ x 24″. It carries the veining and depth of quarried marble, finished with a polished face with a mirror-level shine. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The 24″ x 24″ format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 10 mm. Centura matches it to grout 941 – Raven.
