I Classici Calacatta Gold is a 24″ x 24″ porcelain tile from Centura’s I Classici range. It carries the veining and depth of quarried marble, finished with a polished face with a mirror-level shine. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24″ x 24″, it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 10 mm. The suggested grout is 908 – Dove Gray.
